Sinkhole Studio is equipped with the latest version of Pro Tools with a 32 Track, 24-bit / 96kHz fidelity Digital Recording System with the ability to convey up to 36 streams of audio, record up to 16 separate live tracks simultaneously, control surface data, and MIDI data; with two sets of the 2-way Event Tuned Reference Bi-amplified Monitoring System. In addition to the wide array of professional quality effects from Pro Tools, Sinkhole Studio also has a great selection of digital and analog effects on site to help you get the unique sound you and / or your band desire. Should the need arise, the studio is packed full of guitars, basses, an acoustic drum kit, a digital drum kit, drum and rhythm machines, keyboards, a synthesizer / vocoder, guitar amplifiers, bass amplifiers, and a PA for rehearsal.
Sinkhole Studio is a 13' X 25' room with sound diffusion by Auralex Acoustics with two insulated Isolation Booths equipped with high quality Condenser Microphones for clean, high resonance recordings of vocals, acoustic instruments, etc. EV, Shure, CAD, MXL and Octova microphones are provided for additional vocals, drums, instruments and amplifiers. We also utilize a five-panel Plexi-glass drum shield / baffle and we have a very extensive list of equipment and instruments. Call for additional details.
